The Barbecued Monkey

Walking through the forest across the soft ground.
I see a monkey who is tied and bound.
As I approach to set him free.
He attempts to bite little ol' me.
In fright and shock,
I reach for my glock.
As I mow down the trees,
I fall on my knees.
I hear a great cry.
And watch him fly.
How high he went I'll never know.
To this day we call him Joe.
For a free kill.
He made quite a meal.
This is how Joe died.
It wasn't because he was cooked and fried.
